![]() The BBC is launching a new version of its Red Button service, Connected Red Button, which will be connected to the web. Press the green button to save the setting before returning to your screen. Then, customize the icon, select On-Screen Icon Timeout, and turn it off. You can add or remove interactive features by pressing the Interactive (Red Button) icon on your Sky remote. Connected Red Button is only available if you are connected to the internet. If your television does not have MEG technology, you may be unable to use the Red Button. If you want to access the index for all the BBC Red Button items, go to channel 200 and select it. Only if your TV/set-top box supports ‘HBBTV’ can you connect your Red Button to it. After a public announcement, a red button logo may appear in the top right-hand corner of your television. ![]() ![]() Whenever you press the red button on your remote control, it will always be active. You can then select what you want to watch. This will bring up a menu of all the live and on-demand content that is available for that show. To use the red button, simply press it on your remote control while you are watching a show. ![]() The red button on BBC iPlayer is a great way to watch live and on-demand content from your favorite shows. ![]()
